All good options but I prefer to help the cottage vendors when I can. You sir have just earned my business with your thorough posts and willingness to help me even if it meant sending me somewhere else beside your business.

You'll see an order from me tomorrow and thanks very much for the help.

heard mixd reviews on this website. I'm in the market for couple hundred feet of webbing to get a dozen or so people off the ground and hanging.. and the trees in CA are large so i need 10-15 ft long straps.

good luck with ur quest. please post what you go with, so others can learn..
    love this website.. btw
    have safe, be fun
I wouldn't pay shipping just for the free stuff. I had some specific webbing I wanted so I payed a couple extra bucks for a bunch of free webbing. So, the short answer is alone, not worth it, but if you have something else you need, free stuff us good. It's a bunch of random end of role type stuff. 1/4-2" of I don't know what kind of webbing. When I have some time I'll probably try doing a burn test on the 1.5 and 2" stuff. Whatever it is I'll probably use it to hang hard hammocks.

I got the 9' polypropylene webbing loop straps from NRS.com. I knew they were reliable because I had used them for years rafting to secure gear to rafts (and they still held even on the rare occasions that the cargo raft flipped). Little to no stretch, even when they get wet. I couldn't be happier. I just use the section with the loop, not the buckle.
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

I've had great service from Arrowhead. As previously stated, Paul can make them any length you want.
