    First backyard hang

Well, Thanks to the for sale section, I got a WBBB 1.1 double today. Like any good hammocker, I promptly put it away. Ok, I lie, I promptly ripped open the box and hung it. I also got an Arrowhead new River Underquilt. The UPS man actually said "Thanks, you're keeping me in a job" (yikes).

I set it up, took a nap, and then had my daughter get in so I could tweak the underquilt. The hang is a little low, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of this.

She promptly said "This is nice, go away so I can take a nap.

    Ha!

    So far so good.

    First backyard hang

I'm the hammock headed off to bed. I'm using a kelty cosmic down bag as a top quilt and an arrowhead new river as an under quilt. It's supposed to be 40 tonight, so this is a good first run. My daughter spent 2 hours napping and declared "this needs to stay up". Ha

See everybody in the morning! I feel like a 10 year old on Christmas Day. Lol

Folks, I believe we've nabbed another one and maybe two. Love to hear and see the amazement of firsttimers. We were all there at one point. Remember?

Well, I'm happy to report I had a good sleep. Needed a little fiddling to find the sweet spot. Temp got down to 41 last night, and I was warm all night wearing just a t-shirt, wool hat and sweatpants. I need to tweak the lay a bit, there was some ridgeline pressure, and I need to get the underquilt dialed in a bit more. No cold spots, but my left shoulder side kept sliding down and the right side was way to high....

I do believe I am a convert! I can now happily (and safely) go out into the woods knowing I will survive.
