    Too Tall for Burrow?

    Hi all,
I am ready to pull the trigger on a Burrow TQ. I am 6'0" do i need a long Burrow? or is the standard 74" ok? Also what is everyone's take on overfill? Yes?, No?, How much?
Same questions above for a Incubator UQ too...do I need a long? Overfill?

If anybody has some experience with these please weigh in..I really appreciate it.

I have a 20 degree burrow that is the regular length and width. I am 6'1 and about 270 and it fits me fine. I was a little nervous about getting the regular but once I got it, it fit perfect. As for the overfill, Adam told me it will help it loft out quicker and will also prevent the down from shifting much. I have a 20 degree phoenix that has 2 oz overstuff and it is nice and lofty and will take me down to 10 to 15 degrees Im guessing. I really think that HG uses such high quality down, I hear a lot of people taking there HG quilts lower than the temp rating and not having any issues. Outstanding products and people!!

If you've never used a top quilt before, it's pretty common to be concerned about coverage, etc. You'll be fine with the standard length.

+1 to the others. I have both and am 5'10" and standard length on both give me more than enough room.

I did get the wide on the burrow and am glad I did. I'm not heavy but do toss and turn a bit from side to side and the wide helps me keep a seal better.

I'm 6'2" and have the regular length Burrow and Incubator. Your concerns were the same as mine when I was trying to decide. I went with the regular length and have never regretted it.

My Burrow has no overstuff and it has done me well. My Incubator didn't have any either, but as I camped into the low 20s, I found my personal comfort to be about 25-28* for the 20* rating. I eventually ripped a seam and added about 1.5 oz of "overstuff." Took it to 20* with no issues back in February. With no overstuff, I would get migrating cool spots thru the night as the down would shift slightly when I rolled over. With overstuff, there is no room for migration.

The newer UQ suspension he uses now helps a lot with CBS. I redid mine old version with great results.

So, IMHO, Burrow -- no overstuff. Incubator -- 1-2 oz if you sleep cold.

I'm 6'02. I got the long and it's PLENTY long... I would probably have been fine with the regular. However, I got the wide and it's perfect. I sleep on my side about half the night.
