I have added a Grip Clip on each side at the foot, connected by shockcord. This seems useful to keep the left side foot end closer to the WBBB hammock with less gap, but maybe I wouldn't need it if I was better at adjusting it the right way. I use it on the BMBH to pull the edges a bit tighter to the hammock, but I don't know if this is needed or actually improves anything. It is very warm regardless.
With the net removed from the Hyperlite it sort of collapses into a tube, you have to locate your sweet spot each time you enter and exit (from the top of course). JustJeff wrote about a couple of cold spots near his legs (IIRC he was in a BM Bridge), I think the shock cord would eliminate both problems. It works great on the Potomac UQ design.

I also figured I'd always use that hammock/UQ together, if it is cold enough for a Mt Wash UQ, I won't need a bugnet.

    Roadtorque,

Yes, you can have the JRB Mt Washington UQ overstuffed. Please see the "Available Modifications" page on the JRB site.

why is it suggested not to over stuff? The only reason I could think of would be extra down can not expand (loft up) therefore compressing itself which would make the over stuff pointless. What are the advantages of adding the extra over stuff vs. not?

It is my understanding that overstuff buys a few degrees, minimizes down shifting, and minimizes loss of warmth on colder trips when condensation slowly builds in the down on a long trip.

    RT, TAK, et al,

TAK is correct.... If you want to push a couple more degrees of warmth this is true but at additional cost.

JRB quilts are all over stuffed by 15-22 percent depending on the model...Their temp range capabilty are conservative and no additional overfill
is needed to achieve the advertzed capabilty....It has always been our policy to build the quilt to its stated level without recommending overfill.

Why don't we recommend a 2 oz overfill for someone seeking a warmer quilt? simple 2 oz is 10 degrees warmer and cost +$40.... generally going to the winter model of the same design get 20 degrees warmer for +$50 ... a better value IOHO.

My JRB RM No Sniveler I recently recieved (3 inch baffles), after lying on the bed for several hours, had four inches of loft between the baffles. That was without shaking the down to the middle.
