    My DIY down top quilt

It was a rainy day and I couldn't go mountain biking, so I made a quilt, which I've been meaning to do for a while now. I followed Te-Wa's instructions, and used the DIY Quilt Calculator on Google Drive.

Just a note to anyone using that spreadsheet, the calculation for "Baffle Spacing" is wrong. The formula should not subtract 1 from the number of chambers. I now have 11 chambers instead of 12. My fault for not double checking it.

The quilt still turned out great and will be plenty warm with 11oz of 850 down. I get to test it out next weekend in [probably] rainy Pisgah.

Thanks. The fabric is just 1.1oz ripstop. I did 2" baffles, so the loft should be at least 2.5". I'd say it'd be good down to 25-30*. I haven't weighed it, but it's a heckuva lot lighter than the NF Cat's Meow sleeping back I was using. Way warmer, too.

I totally dig the footbox design. Need to make note of that for my own future projects.

Thanks. Bungee cord at the bottom, omni-tape, and then gutted paracord to tie off the top. Should work pretty well I think.

Which calculator? If it's mine, let me know so I can review it, this is the first I've heard about the chamber calcs being incorrect.
