Its amazing what a difference writing 3 pages/day on a consistent basis will do. Great book BTW, if you haven't read it. Its not just for artists in the classic sense, the book is for anyone wanting to rekindle their creative fire.

Go for it. You have talent, tons of energy, and motivation. And, the timing seems to be right for you from what I can tell.

    Kurt,

This is a great read. Gives perspective to embrace life more fully. My wife turned me on to it.

Thanks, Kurt! This could be just the push I need. I used to follow a regimen of freeform journaling as well as writing/playing music daily, but life & marriage & responsibilities & carpal tunnel got in the way. I am carving out some time for myself from now on to do a little soul healing and introspection, come hell or high water. I think my hammock is going to become my "Oasis" for this push. Can't think of a better daytime use for my hammock than a comfortable desk for writing.

    A foodie's rave.

    I just made the slaw!
You can't keep a hobby cook from trying new things.

That is the best slaw I've had. I didn't have BBQ sandwich to top it with, which would be perfect, but I piled it over fresh tomatoes. AMAZING.

I am making it again for a BBQ party this Sunday! Wonderful, and thanks for posting it!

I'm glad that you like it. We have been making it for about 40 years, and I've never found one better.
