    Thoughts and Photos

I've been using a whoopie hook suspension and tarp flyz/stingerz for about a year now with my Hennessy UL backpacker hammock, and I'd like to share my thoughts and some photos. Thanks, Dutch, for creating ways to make hammocking easier and more intuitive for everyone.

Whoopie Hooks - I am very fond of this suspension and find it to be a huge upgrade over the Hennessy suspension. I larks head the dynaglide to the treehugger, and do the same with the treehugger around the tree. No other hardware than the whoopie hook is used. I love how adjustable it is, how simple it is, and how easy it is to set up.

Tarp Flyz - These are more versatile than stingerz in that you can move the flyz up and down the line to give you a wider range of use from the same amount of line. They are very easy to use and hold great. They also weigh next to nothing. I use these for the tree tie-outs on my hennessy diamond asym tarp.

Stingerz - I like to use these with my golite poncho tarp because of how quickly they can be removed and attached.

Here's the whole setup from a backpacking trip I took in October.

Great shots. I have a hand full of Dutch gear and no hammock. Can't wait to put it to use.

    Nice photos, thanks for sharing.

BTW I just got an envelope full of door hooks, tarp flyz, and cordage.
I had no clue all of it was going to be so micro machine sized.

Cant wait to get my tarp and start learning how to pitch it
