Hi all, new member here. I'm in Lexington, KY and got started hammocking last year on a camping trip with my son in Hot Springs, NC. I am trying to whip myself into some form of shape to do some hiking on the AT this year. Look forward to hopefully seeing you all sometime this year!

welcome to hammockforums hooch. i believe i remember you from the hammockcamping yahoo group.
maybe you can make it to the south east hammock hangers association (SEHHA) camp out in hot springs, april 13-15.
there's a thread here (SEHHA) that tells more about it.

I already have the dates for the SEHHA Campout in Hot Springs requested off at work and am rather axiously awaiting it. This will be my first hangout of the year and I can't wait. I'm trying to talk a couple friends into coming with me, but if not, I'll be there just the same. See ya in Hot Springs!
