    first backyard hang

    I hanged in the backyard...
The neighbors had a dog that would not shut up until 11 then I feel asleep. I found a way how to insulate my botom though until I get an under quilt though. Put a blanket under my self and use it as a mini pad. Any other suggestions would be nice. The straps work wonderful Dutch the hooks rock. It dropped to 37 degrees.

Cool! No I mean it! A camping pad under you will help some. They are cheap but they don't breathe so you might have condensation issues. Some folks swear by fleece sleeping bag liners in warm weather as a way to keep from getting a cold butt.
I experienced this first hand until I modified a thrift store sleeping bag to be an underquilt. Then I was hooked. I was not happy till I made a real underquilt and snuggled down into its cozy warmth.

    Awesome!

I picked up some soft moldable silicone earplugs on a weeklong MTB trip last summer that I found were perfect for quelling the noise pollution of "hanging in the hood". An inverted Halo headband pulled over the eyes helps to snuff out the light(s).

I've not yet been below 60 nor have my UQ built, so can't help with that.
