Is .355" carbon poles strong enough for a spreader bar? If not for both ends. How about just the foot end. I saw them at Quest outfiters.

For a bridge hammock or hanging tandem? I wouldn't think that small of a diameter would be stiff enough for a bridge hammock. It's important to size them to withstand tangential forces. Carbon fiber doesn't handle those forces as well as aluminum.
