    1.1 polyester ripstop

I have been looking for 1.1 polyester ripstop with not much luck. My search has sent on a journey through sailing and kite builting websites. When I do find some it is too narrow. I am hoping for something 65 inches wide. And if all that isn't enough to ask could it please be purple. A nice purple not an ugly purple. Anybody got any leads for me?
    Peace Dutch

Dutch....this is ZQ...I just looked at their site. I don't see the 1.1 either. I know thay had it because I talked to them about a week or so ago about the difference in the feel (workability) of the ripstop and silnylon. Give them a call. They are very friendly and will answer your questions. I don't know if they answer on the weekends. They have a toll free number. ZQ

2Q just informed me that what I'm thinking of is not the same as the polyester ripstop you're looking for. ZQ

Thanks 2Q and ZQ for trying... I've exhausted my search so I'm hoping someone has a direction.

I am in the same boat and it is not so easy for me in England to find fabric...thankfully I did using lots of searches.

If I was 'over there' I am sure it would be easier. Try

    http://www.tothewoods.net/JeffsHikingPage.html

He has a good list of places to get everything for home made gear inc. fabric.
Shame that most will not ship to England.

I have searched on ebay uk and found lots of ripstop nylon MilSpec parachute material going cheap.

Hopefully you guys will be able to tell me if this is OK to use for a hammock??
