    Kid Sized TQ/sleeping bag mod

Up for sale are four kid sized TQs. I made them by modifying synthetic sleeping bags. My girls all have down TQs now, and they have abandoned these quilts. These quilts are clean, and from a pet-free, smoke-free home. #3 and 4 are identical.

Prices include shipping CONUS. Payment by Paypal.

    #1 Purple/Dora 40-50* approx. 42"x60" drawstring footbox with buttons $35
    #2 Blue/yellow 40-50* approx. 42"x54" drawstring footbox with buttons $35
    #3 Green 30* approx 50"x54" sewn footbox $50
    #4 Green 30* approx 50"x54" sewn footbox $50

Very interested in the two green ones. Would you mind weighing them? I've contemplated modding my kids existing bags but want to check to see if the weight savings would justify the expense.

This is about as close to an "I'll take 'em" as I can offer right this second. Looking forward to hearing from you. As said in the turtledog thread... "details man."

How could I forget to include the weights? Too many details....

    #1 Purple 22.5 oz
    #2 Blue 23 oz
    #3 Green 27 oz
    #4 Green 30.25 oz

The weights on the green ones surprised me a bit since those are identical bags, modded the same way. Obviously they are slightly different, most likely inconsistencies in the insulation.

Not ignoring you, promise. I just weighed the kids bags and the weight differences are close for my littler boy and his bag, but the bigger boy would see a good saings from his current bag. Unfortunately I think the bigger one would outgrow one of your modded ones pretty quickly I'm afraid. The weight savings would be significant for his bag, but I can't quite justify the cost.

Thanks for the offer and sorry for leaving you hanging for a bit. Good luck and thanks for the updated specs.

Hey Detail Man, did your girls ever use these sleeping on the ground/tent. How did they like a quilt compared to a conventional sleeping bag? My little girl is only two but I'm hoping we can do a family trip soon.
