Hello folks, checking in here from just outside Washington DC.. After years of being busy with other stuff, I am now getting back into backpacking/camping - one of my sons just transferred from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.
I love the idea of a hammock - eyeing the Warbonnet BB 2x 1.7 or XLC, but really need to try one out before buying it. Anyone close to Montgomery County MD know where I can rent one, or willing to loan me one for a weekend?

Welcome! I'm in Frederick, but I don't have an XLC. I know of a few other hangers in the direct area, but I'm not sure what they're using. It'd be cool to do a 'west of DC' kind of trip if we get some more responses in here. The AT is always a good choice for a quick hang.
