Still having a tough time deciding. I'm wondering if there is a big difference between regular and thick corded hammocks?

I put the eye screws in the 2x4s. I saw the house after it was framed, but before the sheetrock one up so I know what is behind the wall. I sleep in my Warbonnet Blackbird 1.7 single layer a couple of nights a week. We also have a queen-size futon in our bedroom. If the wife to sides to go with a hammock as well, I will look into building a couple of shelf wall mounts as I think those are really cool and get a folding stand for the futon so we can have a couch/bed in our room as well. That is a great idea.

Just my opinion but those woven rope hammocks are fine for the beach or where it's hot and you need the breeze, but I hate trying to sleep in one. Just uncomfortable and you'll be going to class with lines all over your face... Like Cannibal said that third Brazilian you linked to would probably be the most comfortable.
The table cloth hammocks are fine. I don't think they stretch per se, one I made for my sister has developed a "shape" as it's a gathered end and I just think it has slipped into a shape over time because of the way she sleeps in it.
Get a stand. You won't get permission to put anchors into the walls I'll wager.
Good luck!
