Belated Hello

Been lurking here for some time enjoying tons of information and expertise. I just posted to another thread, realized I've been on here since 2009 and had NEVER posted......Yes I'm pathetic. Figured I probably should at least introduce myself.

I started hanging in 2009 when I happened to stumble across a ENO single nest. Did a little research, found this site and scoured it for info. After a weekend in the woods trying it out, I've never slept on the ground since.

Recently I broke my foot (there went my half marathon I was training for) and since I cant walk......I decided to DIY build a new hammock, tarp, uq, and top quilt to pass the time. In preparation I've been back lurking again. Wow you guys are inventive. Lots of new ideas. I look forward to spending some quality time with you during this next adventure.

Anyway thanks to all for sharing their expertise and opinions.

Welcome! We just figured you laid in your hammock after joining the forum, and like Rip van Winkle, hadn't woken up yet!

Heck, we had another stalker from back in 2007??? I don't recall exactly, but thanks for introducing yourself, and welcome to the forum. You'll make great friends here and try to make a group hang.
