    Seam Sealer/Waterproofing my tarp

So i need to do some tarp repairs to the seam running down the ridge line. Any recommendations on brands? Als, i would like to treat the tarp in the areas other than the seam. I have heard they make a spray for this. I am unfamiliar with this product so if anyone has any tips i would really like to them. Thanks alot.

I used Permatex flowable silicone windshield sealer that is available at autozone or oreileys. It worked great for my ridge seam and for a few small pin holes I made during construction.
I have not used a sprayable product but there are several threads on here about both seamsealing and waterproofing.
    Good luck.

Is your tarp silnylon or some kind of PU coated nylon?

I've had nothing but good results on SilNylon with McNett's SilNet. (Same for their SeamGrip on PU coated stuff.) I don't know of any spray products that would fill needle holes, seal seams, etc.

    Take it easy,

I agree. I've been patching gaer with Mcnetts silnet and tenacious tapefor 12 years.. even sealed a knife to the bone wound with it.
