What do you use for splicing dynaglide?
I use the wire out if a spiral ring binder... It works well, stainless or coated work well... Just unroll the ring a few inches and it unrolls out quite a bit when it's straightened..
Live, Laugh, Love, if that doesn't work. Load, Aim and Fire, repeat as necessary...

I have been using the same fid for 7/64 amsteel down to lash-it which is a strand from a cat-5 cable (internet). I leave the shielding on it still. I can't remember who recommended it but I always try to go the free route when I can. It works well enough that I have made whoopie slings, adjustable ridgelines, soft shackles, spliced self-tensioning guy lines, and other things.
As long as you have something that is thin enough to move easily through the core and a way to hook another line you are fine.
Thanks guys. I just used a guitar string to make some dynaglide whoopies
I use something picture hanging wire that I got from Home Depot
