    Hello,

I am looking to buy an inexpensive hammock for a beginner. Some thing basic with or without suspension, same deal with a bugnet. Fabric is also not an issue. Something in the $20-$40 range. Anybody out there have anything like that?

Check out butt in a sling. The camper and xl camper are great hammocks for beginners or old hands. All their hammocks are under $50 the cheapest is the hiker light hammock ( single layer ).
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.

We started the kids in the Walmart hammock with a bug net used forcots bought from Academy. Just cout small holes in the corners of the bug net for the suspension to go through and then used permithren(sp?) around the holes. Added a ridgeline to get a consitent lie and away we went. Think the whole set up was 30 dollars.
