I'll be in NYC for a week or so in October. Since part of the trip is over a weekend I think it might be nice to hang in the park and read for a few hours during the day if the weather is nice. Are there any city regs prohibiting this?

I read the article about the guys camping in the trees. I'm thinking a little closer to ground level and only a few hours max during the day, with just the hammock and my tablet. No tarp, no sleeping gear, nothing to indicate that I plan to be there over night.
