    Bug net woes

I am trying to decide on what to do for a bug net. I have a limited budget, I would like to spend less than $20. I have an eno double nest hammock. I chose this hammock because I don't want to be enclosed. I have looked at the fronkey design and that us a possibility, but if I could do something that isn't DIY that would be more convinant. I would like it to be some what durable, but am aware that no netting is really that durable. I also need it to be light (under 2 pounds is fine) any threads (I have done google searches but can't find any thing) or ideas are welcome. Thanks guys

Sub $20 with no diy might be a bit tricky.

With minimal DIY you could use a large mesh window curtain and tie weights to the four courners and rest it over the hammock ridgeline.

I just noticed conflicting information. Under ITEM DESCRIPTION the size is 12 ft X 8ft. Under SPECIFICATIONS the size is 18 in X 18 in X2 in.
    Sorry for any confusion.

Ikea has a net curtain in the kids bedroom or furniture section.. It's basically polyester version of tulle. It will stop mosquitoes and not much else.

If I recall, it's like $10, white, and would make a good Fronkey net.

For $20, DIY is all you're going to get.

im on my 2nd military bar net ordered off ebay for $15. they are HUGE and give so much extra no seeum material. not sure if its really noseeum but its labeled as such. Im on my second because my math was wrong on the first and ended up not letting me lay diagonal. next one will be perfect I can feel it! unfortunately im camping tomorrow night and don't have time to sew up the net since I have to work in the morning. I plan to just use the net as is (HUGE) and use lots of tie outs then flip the bottom side inside out and cinch it up with shock cork and a lock. it will work for the one night im out there but as soon as sunday hits im sewing up the net. Pics soon to come!

Try Coghlan's rectangular mosquito net. $16.99 It's made to be suspended over a cot or sleeping bag, but on the diagonal it should be plenty big enough for a hammock. The double for $22-24 is enough for 2 ENO DN's ( just bought one today and had to cut it down).
