Hanging an xlc in a bunked college bed?

This summer I'm going down for some classes and will be staying on campus. The beds aren't the greatest and was thinking of taking my Xlc without the bugnet, so as the traveler. I was thinking if I can bunk the beg I could hang it from the opposite corners, that is diagonal across the bed. Will a 11 foot hammock work in such a small space?

I was also thinking that if I turned the bed frame upside down then I could hang a bridge hammock from the four corners using the suspension triangle ropes.

Find the length and width of the bed (standard sizes listed here)


Use Pythagorean Theroem to calculate the distance between corners (hypotenuse)




I'm guessing a bunk is either a twin or full bed size.
