    Not sure if it matters, but using snake skins, my tarp is always attached to my contiguous tarp ridgeline using shackle prussic. I find that snake skins for your tarp really reduce the setup time. Hook to trees and then open your skins and you are done. Maybe some adjustment to center the tarp as you wish.

    I agree that snake skins can make things a lot easier. I also have figure 9s on each end. Makes it easy to cinch things up quickly.

    Yea I think that is my next order of business... Snake Skins for the tarp. Or maybe a new tarp then snake skins?

    +1 on the snake skins. Easy to put up the encased tarp with the option to quickly deploy it if you want to. Easy to pack up if you have not used it, especially if you keep it on the outside of your pack anyway.
