    2.44mm cord with Stingers?

I noticed the stingers say to use 1.75 mm cord. I have a hunk of 2.44mm green reflective cord,I would like to use for my pullouts and Rl on my tarps i just ordered. Will the eye on the stingers accept the 2.44 mm cord? I have a 300 mile per hour 9 year old son that camps with me often. He has a knack for finding guylines and such once the sun goes down,so the reflective lines are appealing to me.

When I saw this I pulled out one of mine to have a look. I think if you squished it down a lot it would fit, but the 1.75 line does take up most of the space in the eye. You might have to taper it a bit to be able to pull it through... might be worth checking with them before you order.

    No.
Well maybe. But I suggest you use 1.75 for the RL and have it higher than your grandson. However the biggest problem is the antenna is too narrow. However you can open it up with a screwdriver. Use it like a wedge and not like a pry bar.
