so I have gotten my wife into hammocks and she wants one we both can lay in, we don't plan on sleeping in it for any extended period of time. So i started looking into the cotton mayan hammocks b.c they are big and have a good weight rating. I found this one click me
and since it is on sale seems like a good deal just wondering if any body has any exprience with these and what i should expect. Thanks guys.
No experience with this one, but I am considering one. Thanks for the heads up. Many of the folks here use this type hammock as their every night hammock in place of a bed, and many give good reports. At the price it is definitely worth a try. Let us know how it works for you if you get one.
I think I have that hammock. I've ordered from that site a few times and have been happy with the quality for the price; good value. If it's the same hammock, it has a fairly tight weave and is comfortable for two.

Expect to get a lot of good naps in. I have had one for years but do not use it as much as I would like. With the cotton you are going to want to make sure to not wear abrasive clothing such as jeans too much. Pants with buttons on the back will get caught in the weave and pull threads out. I have had a few threads break over the years but have been able to trace them back to where they go and retie them. Looks like a good price for the size.

Well the first thing I have to say is holy cow they have fast shipping. I orded it on Saturday and even with the holiday I got it today. It came with ropes to hang it with so I was able to hang over my toggles and marlin spike hitch. It is very comfy, I haven't had a chance to try with my wife yet but there should be plenty of room. So far so good. Here are some pics
Here it is hanging up in the garage. This is my hang location till I get my telephone polls put up.
He is the supplied rope and suggested knot to hold it. I was a little leary at first but it has held nicely.
Here is the other end of the supplied rope in my strap and toggle with marlin spike hitch.

well after having this for about a month now and laying in it several times by my self and with the wife I am very pleased with this purchase.
So, That means she says it can come IN the house now?
