Does anyone have this set up and know the weight on it? I am thinking about getting this to lighten up my load so what's the weight If you know, Thanks

Keep Calm
Hike On
I recently switched the stock strap suspension system of the WBBB 1.1 sl for a friend of mine and attached amsteel 7/64th continuous loops at each end, 4ft straps and 6 ft 7/64 woopies with Dutch Woopies hooks attached to the woopie sling and the hammock and suspension system weighted in at apx. 16.3 ounces or somewhere very close to that if my memory serves me right.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
You can get the weight down to around 1 pound (or even less) by using Dynaglide whoopies, whoopie hooks, shorter tree straps (check out the whoopie hook suspension from Dutch, it uses Amsteel but Dynaglide works too), reworking the pullouts on the shelf and door (I use light, shorter cord pieces and short loops of shock cord, instead of the stock 1/8" shock cord), Tech line on the ridgeline, shorter continuous loops on the ends of the hammock (or Dynaglide ones) and using a smaller, lighter stuff sack.
You could also try Mule tape for tree straps and/or UCR's instead of whoopies slings. I have not done this, but a lot of hangers do. You could use Amsteel for the trees and padding under it to protect the trees.
This is why I am liking hammock camping so much; the DIY possibilities are endless
