    Storing Hammock in Snake Skins

Are there any concerns in keeping my hammock in snakeskins between hikes (or eventually over the winter where I rarely if ever hit the trails)? Also, after placing the hammock in the skins, I have been "folding" them and putting it in the original storage bag...will these bends cause any damage? Thanks.

As long as the hammock is dry and is in a dry place, I can't see any problems. I think fold are only a problem if they are always happening in the exact same place and even then, I think it would take a very long time for anything to happen.

I've stored my blackbird in skins for years. No problems yet. If damp from camping, I hang the hammock to dry and then stick back in sil snakeskin.
