2011 model Kelty Noah's Tarp 9' - sale

I just picked up 2 of these, and there is one left:

The sale price with the free shipping over $100 was pretty decent. To get to the $100, I added a 4 set of Nite Ize figure 9s with the reflective lines.

Reviews indicated that these were pretty decent tarps, so I squeezed the trigger. Now me and my 2 boys are all set, just my daughter to go for weather coverage.

Anyone have any suggestions about these tarps?

Very good tarps, set up in diamond mode, 12ft over hammock.

Many tieouts for multi setup configurations.


Two tarps near each other look like birds taking off in the woods.

Heavy for backpacking. We use them vanCamping.

The boys get these in their own packs - they only have to carry hammock and sleep gear. I carry the rest.

I also put the figure 9's on the tarp for the ridgeline attachments. It makes tensioning and adjusting the coverage over your hammock very simple.
