I'd love to make this one. Hopefully I can bring a couple new hanging friends...

How much does a DO weigh, and can it be placed in a pack or must it be carried by hand? I'm not sure if I can make it and I don't own a DO, but I may be willing to serve as a pack mule for one, provided that the skills of the cook justify the effort !
"The Road goes ever on and on,
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can.
    Pursuing it with eager feet
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

A 12" DO that weighs 19lbs fits in a ULA Catalyst along with charcoal and a volcano too. The DO was in a nylon carrier. It's not a huge pack but one a lot smaller might not work. old4hats won't let you down in culinary department.

    Sorry about the injury, Doodad.

I am still in recovery for rotator cuff surgery, but I could probably have made this hang if my wife had not just gone under the knife for the same type surgery.

She wont come out of her brace until week after next, and in the sling for another 3 weeks after that.

Just me and her on the homestead, so I gotta do the cooking and cleaning....

You guys have a good time!

Maybe in the fall I can re-join the group.
