we put in at ep20. paddled angleworm and stayed on home the first night. portaged over to gull for nights 2 & 3. day tripped across gun and fairy dowm to boot. didmt spend much time on boot because of the wind. then camped on angleworm on night 4.

Back from my first overnighter! 4 nights bwca

I am soo looking forward to my bwca trip this year. Almost entirely new setup from last year and a lighter canoe. I might need to go for a solo just to get my "fix" before my family trip in July. Looks awesome!

I really like canoe/kayak camping hanging trips ... the more remote the better ... This trip looks like its going down on my ta-do list! Fishing any good?
    God bless! Brent

What sets a canoeing expedition apart is that it purifies you more rapidly and inescapably than any other travel. Travel a thousand miles by train and you are a brute; pedal five hundred on a bicycle and you remain basically a bourgeois; paddle a hundred in a canoe and you are already a child of nature.
    -- Pierre Elliott Trudeau
