    Black bird stock suspension

Got a chance to try out my new wbbb and really like the the buckles and strap. I am 265lbs and was worried that it would slip. After setting up they were rock solid. What other options have you used and what do you like best.

Still like that WBBB stock suspension and still use it today. Very simple. I have used whoopies, straps, rings, ucr's, elephant trunks and dutch whoopie hooks. I do love variety!

With my WBBB I've used the stock buckles and they are solid so no need to worry about backing it up with a half hitch. I have also used whoopie slings in the past. Currently I use the cinch buckles Dutch sells. They won't slip either but are much more easily adjusted than the stock ones.

Replaced mine with whoopies almost immediately.
I found it very hard to adjust with my sleeping bag in it (I haven't got a TQ or UQ yet)

Ditto here. Thought about whoopies but decided to give these a go for awhile. Pretty simple.

WB strap & buckle setup works so well,

    Why look elsewhere?

Of course you may be a gram weenie. But the ease of set, ease of adjustment, and secure holding power make this setup my favorite.

I like the ease of the stock setup, just not the weight of my climbing biners. I bought some dutch buckles, whoopie hooks, and amsteel and made a set of ucr's. I also had my tailor sew up some tree straps for me that work for the size of tree I mainly get out here in PNW. I prefer this setup, but only because of weight, the straps were marginally easier to use. After all the experimentation, if I hadn't messed up my order and actually bought the dutch clip I may have stuck with the stock system.

I dislike those buckles something fierce so I switch them out to rings almost immediately.
