To add a hem or not

I am currently working on my HH clone. I just finished putting the first fold of the hem on and am debating on putting a second to make it a rolled hem. This is for the sides of the hammock which will later be attached to the zipper. Its kinda raw but its the edge of the fabric not a cut raw edge.

At that point it is a matter of appearance, right?

I recently sewed up an UL backpack and paid little attention to appearance. Now that I know how to do it my next one will probably look better, too. But for now I'm satisfied with rough edges.

Well the whole edge is going to be hidden by the bug net zipper.

+1 If it isn't visible, I'd say you're ok, unless it's a cut edge. The selvage won't unravel.
