Hi I'm Pete.



I fairly new to camping (as an adult, I was a boy scout in the 80s). I bought a Black Diamond Vista on EBay last year before I heard of Hammock camping. I ended up with a $45 gift card from REI and bought an ENO doublenest. I also bought the Ultimate Hang and read it this past weekend while camping and slept in my new Hammock with a makeshift under quilt. Though still a little cold, much more comfortable than an air mattress (though my neck hurt a little even with my little travel pillow.



I now need make an under quilt and get a better tarp, for my July camping trip. Want to try it for the whole trip.



Sadly, don't know if it's OK at state parks (hammock camping). Hate to be breaking the law…
