How does everyone use this tarp?
I have mine setup on the diamond using a CRL, but my goal is to figure out how to get rid of the loose flopping material at the peak of the tarp.
Does it do this because it's not cat cut?
It drives me nuts.

I can't really help with the floppyness in a diamond setup, but with my 4x4 I can get it literally drum tight in a hex with doors setup with ease.
Is there a reason you setup your tarp as a diamond? There should be enough clearance at each side of the hammock to set it up as a rectangle or hex?
The bigger the better in my eyes.
Florida has sideways rain. Lol
Plus with only one tie out on each side it's faster.
Wondering now if I can hex mine though hmmmmm

I'm new to this but I so far have opted a symmetrical square hang over a ridgeline. With the mid sheet attachment points perpendicular to the ridge allowing additional guys to pull the sides out.
i love dd hammocks,i have 5 of them,but i hate their tarps
this here is what i use.neo
i use the big daddy 12 ft ridge line tarp

the matrix has you
If I was to spend 100$ or more on a tarp.... It would be the superfly.
Cat cuts may help, but you are pulling on longer sides compared to a hex pitch. That probably has something to do with it.
Sorry, I don't have any pics of it, and I use my diy tarp these days. It does look just like a slightly larger version of a tarp with doors with slightly shorter doors.
