Thanks! Yea after this I realized there was a drop down menu for attaching the pic straight into the thread.

Wish it was that easy on tapatalk!!

It is, next to the discard button when you are writing a message, there are three buttons, one to upload images from your device, one for urls and image links and one for emoticons.
