Need some help with some gear.

Hi guys, I'm new to the hammock world. I need some help to make sure i get the gear i need for my trip. I'm going on my annual hunting trip this fall to the Rockey Mt's. I'm want to use the hammock system. I will give you what I'm thinking.
1. The Clark NX200
2. Exped 9 down mat
3. A -20 sleeping bag.

Now will this work for my pack in trip. Usually i have horses to pack stuff in, but this trip i will not. So space and weight will be a factor. Any opinions appreciated!

Welcome to HF & a great night's sleep in the woods.
I've not experienced the Clark hammocks, but quite a few here have.
The Exped 9 will probably take care of the bottom, but I have to wonder about needing a little extra insulation on the sides... maybe something in the clark pockets. We'll see what others suggest.

What kind of low temps are possible?

Also, have you checked out Jeff's site? It has a LOT of nicely laid out info on hammocks, etc.

I've used an exped 7 and not had any need for side or shoulder insulation - BUT it's the 7 DLX, which is wider. My fiance uses the normal size 7 and she's comfortable, but she doesn't exactly have the broadest shoulders.
