Looking to put my wife in a bridge hammock. She has been testing my gathered end hammocks and can't stay comfortable for more than a couple of hour due to the shoulder squeeze.
Also needing a tarp for her setup.
Thanks

I thought "sholder squeeze" was one of the drawbacks of he bridge design. I may be wrong, but my DIY bridge (based off of the grizz bridges) has some squeeze that my gathered ends don't. May want to look into it.
ETA: Sorry, I just realised this was in the WTB section. I'm not used to it being available on tapatalk.

I've never been in a bridge. I may be thinking wrong then. Will post te question in the appropriate plae to get some input. Thanks.
Yeah, I'm 6'3" and 260 and I don't get shoulder squeeze from my gathered ends but did when I tried a bridge. Hard to believe your wife would get squeeze if I didn't, maybe the setup wasn't right or she wasn't diagonal?
I get mild squeeze, but I'm able to alleviate it better in a gathered end by getting into multiple sleeping positions for short periods of time (always end up on my back). Same thing happened in the RR, but I never could get comfy in any position other than on my back.

I had the same problem. Kept getting a sore shoulder, neck and sometimes leg in the gathered end hammock, until I made a 90" wide x 11' long table cloth hammock. The only problem I have now is keeping my blanky and pillow where they belong. Because your legs and head are higher than ur butt, mine eventually end up bunched up under my butt in a few hours.
You can get 90" w Tablecloth material here > http://www.tableclothsfactory.com/category-s/149.htm
I don't get any shoulder squeeze in the RidgeRunner. It is a mighty fine hammock. I think your wife will love it.

My wife prefers my Ridge Runner over my Blackbird. She says it's just more comfortable and has a better view.
