    Hennessy XL Snake skins Question

    Hi Guys,
This is my first post but I have been lurking for a little while. I was wondering if anyone knows if the Hennessy XL snake skins will fit a tarp and hammock with bug net....I'm looking to use it on my Claytor jungle hammock. I am sure this has been covered somewhere but I searched and couldn't find exactly the answer I was looking for. Sorry If This post reads like a newB ...but I am...thanks for the help in advance

Not sure if anyone tested that specific combination. The opening on the wide end of the XL is about 10.5 cm across when laying flat. So, make a loop of string of the same size and see if you can slide it on the hammock+bug net+tarp. The snake skins will probably slide on easier than the string, but it will give you an idea. It will probably work fine.

I've used them for the deep jungle xl with stock asym tarp all on one set of snake skins. Now I have the bigger monsoon tarp I keep on a continuous ridge line with it's own set of snake skins. It's way easier to get the tarp dialed in if it's not on the same line as the hammock. Having it on the same line as the hammock works ok with the stock suspension on a hennessy because it's usually lashed pretty tight. Once you are using straps or whoopies, then you have more of an angle which means that the tarp changes shape once you get in the hammock.
A lotta ins... lotta outs... lotta what-have-you's
