    ENO Reactor questions

I was curious if anyone had purchased the ENO Reactor and if it was a double or single nest? Any reviews on it, good or bad?

    ENO Reactor questions

It's a single nest double layered. They are same old eno comfort and quality. I'm a eno fan but for that kind of money I'd get a BIAS camper double layer.

I had recently called ENO to see if they ever changed the Reactor design since it's introduction. The response was that they did not. I had read of some fit issues in the way the two layers were perimeter stitched.

    ENO Reactor

I am a SN Reactor owner. I do not agree with a lot of the comments on design issues.
I think that when you figure in the components that you slide into the hammock pocket ( closed cell pad and sleeping pad ) and then consider that the space between the hammock itself and the bottom layer is providing a space for air pocket insulation, that everything works great.
I fully agree with the Whoopie suspension and tree strap mods and replacing the dry fly with a much lighter MacCat tarp.

I love my ENO SN Reactor hammock!

I own a ENO DN, and I love mine. It does get kind of crunchy/stale feeling if you leave it in the sun all day. And if you're going to spend 60$ on the reactor, or single nest, why not spend an extra 10$ for an extra two feet.
