Looking for a Simple Anorak Pattern XXL-XXXL for Lightweight Rainsuit

    Hey all you DIY'ers,

I'm wondering if anyone's found/used a good anorak pattern with a good hood. I have a few extra yards of sil and I'd like to whip up an ultralight rain shell. I'd like to make it big enough to fit over my insulation layers. Also, any venting features would be very useful.

    Cheers,

The easiest thing would be to make a poncho and then attach the hood. This could serve multiple purposes as well,,,but if you want an anorak in particular then the Conover's book " Snow Walker Companion" has a good pattern and i'm sure someone in your area has a copy.
