Made a new Hammock and Stand

In an attempt to make a flat lay hammock for the back yard or campground.
    First, the hammock.
    8' long 3' wide

Second. I made a frame out of light weight steel pipe. A/K/A 'Conduit"

Then added my hammock. It's very comfortable and about as flat a lay as you can get in a nylon hammock

It's hung with adjustable straps so that I can lower my head or legs.

And the whole thing comes apart into a nice small package that weighs about 6-7 pounds. With only 4 screws to put it together.

Of course I will paint the frame dark green and my plan is to make a Skeeto net that will cover the hammock and stand so that the dogs can sleep below the hammock in a bug free zone too.
    Then! Comes the rain cover.

What do you think so far?

I love the idea of the dog sleeping underneath with the netting!

Daughter in law just came by and asked me if she could have it.
Should I give it to her?

I'm still waiting for the part where she say's, "Here's $70 to cover the cost of materials? I guess I'm just old fashion.
Truthfully though, if she's serious she can take it home when they leave today.
