What do you use to cut Amsteel?

Thank you to all. Another reason to go to Harbor Freight...excellent! $5.00 ceramic knife probably means I will walk out with an additional bunch of goodies I can't live without.

My friend has a pair of ceramic scissors. They work great.

I cut a few thousand feet a month with Xacto blades. Cheap, easy to sharpen, easy to replace and when sharp cut easier than butter. The key to an easy cut is sharp blade, push down then draw the blade through. If you need to saw or get an uneven cut then your not using a sharp enough blade.

A cheap Mora knife I got off the internet a while back. Its easy to keep sharp and slices through amsteel with ease

Love my ceramic paring knife and definitely on a cutting board.

I use a ceramic paring knife. I believe they are available at Harbor Freight type of stores. Also you need a cutting board type of surface to cut the cord on. It tends to work better.n

Utility blade and a 2x4... my 2x4 has been sharpie marked with lengths clearly defined for all my splicing needs.
