IX UQ layers :
1) ripstop with sewn-in IX ( sewn, pleated head and foot only; 40"wide [from 60" IX] extra 10" folded on each side, loose, making airpockets )
Sides have channels with shockcords and cordlocks.
2) three darted, floating inserts of IX added and subtracted as needed for season
3) another ripstop only UQ layer : used as skin for 1 or more floating IX layers for warmer seasons
AND always as outside shield for SnugFit in pine forests.
Sides have channels with shockcords and cordlocks.
In warmer seasons this combo divides into two complete setups, one for each of us.

I've had one for several years now.
OK Willyp, that puts us in the solid 20s now.....I bet some lurkers have them too-come on out in the open
I'm curious, and this seems as good a place as any to ask: How does the Universal SF differ from those made to fit the Speer hammock?

Tim has the universal. What I can remember...I removed the stuff years ago when he bought it. It had a bunch of red grosgrain tabs along the sides for attaching to a variety of hammocks. There was some extra fabric along both sides that I removed. I don't remember what that was for. It now "snugs" up under and along the sides of his HH nice and "snug"! Donna

For someone small enough or thin enough those red grosgrain tabs can be laced together forming a pseudo peapod around the hammock.....for the average user they give almost infinite number of tie off connecting points.
Our pseudo peapod is used with an ENOs for blocking the wind and keeping the TQ from escaping.
Made a fleece flattop-cover with tabs matching and tied to the red grosgrain tabs on the Snugfit.
Ties on the foot and along one side; small s-biners for easy in-out.
A very heavy fleece cover for colder weather and a light one for warm.
