    New attachment for suspension.

HH has a different way of attaching their suspension. If you feel the whipping is it flat. When you peel back the end cover you will see instead of melted holes that the rope goes through, it will be sewn around an 1.5 inch piece of webbing that the suspension is tied to. This is a very recent change.

I would like to take pictures of how to change that suspension out. I will give a free suspension to the first per who has one. I will need you to send the hammock and I will put on whatever you would like. To be clear it is for the new style with the sewn on webbing.

Does that mean I win the free suspension if I send it to you?

I'm glad your doing this, because I just got my first hammock, a hh expedition zip. I went to your website to order a suspension and saw hh and non hh suspensions. I've been confused! So I turned to this forum for answers. I also have the web loop, does the mean I can use any non hh suspension?

Dutch am I correct in assuming with this that all I would need to do is larks head, maybe with an extra turn, an amsteel loop onto the webbing then I would be good to go using whoopie slings, buckles, whatever suspension I have laying around, ect... with the new HH flat whipping? I have a Deep Jungle XL with the new whipping.
    Thanks

I just purchased a HH Hyperlite and am waiting to receive it this week, I'm looking at Dutch's suspension system, very happy I noticed this thread.

Please post some pictures/videos of the difference between the old and new attachment points, I personally don't have a point of reference for the old design. I'm also not sure if I bought a old or new design, as it is a 2nd hand hammock bought in 2012.

    will subscribe to the thread,
