    1/8" Shockcord

Anybody know if any of the standard big box retailers carry shock cord. Got some from REI Last weekend, but working on a project, and I need about 15 feet more........

Hoping I can find some, so I can get this underquilt done before Wednesday of next week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Not sure but be aware the quality of the shock cord varies. I normally buy from REI too but recently bought some from EBay and it was terrible quality and really flimsy feeling. The good stuff like REI sells has stronger tension.

Check with marine supply stores, although it will probably be white shock cord.

got mine @ WEST MARINE, which is just down the road

the marine stuff seems to be of better quality than the BARGAIN BASEMENT variety

& i hate having to re-do something because of inferior materials/components

    just lazy, i guess

I'm with the others, get the better quality. If your in a rush and don't mind white, you could pick up a tent pole repair kit from Walmart.
    It'll be alright Friday!

I get mine at Academy. It's white, but 45' for $3 is pretty hard to beat. It works great for most of my camping related projects and has held up up well to everything I can put it through.

Thanks Guys. I bought enough at REI To do the perimeter of the PLUQ, but didn't get enough to do the ends for the gather..... I think I will just order a hundred feet from Supply Captain for 7.00 plus some shipping. Anybody ever order from them. So far, I like the quality of the REI Stuff.

I ordered some from Amazon Prime so I could have it in two days for five bucks and some change. Its white and probably the same cord at Wallyworld. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Several of us have bought from Supply Captain. Good quality, good price, ship quickly...what's not to like?
