    Headed out from RTP Thursday afternoon for a relaxed circuit in the Birkhead Wliderness. Finish up Saturday AM.

    Birkhead is nice, small but close for me in Raleigh. Trails are easy, I circled the area in one ambling day. I will go back, but until it gets cooler I'll be going to higher elevations.
