    Cool Austria/Germany/Switzerland

    Hi hangers!

I've recently moved to a town in Western Austria called Dornbirn (Here it is on a map) and I'm looking for people to go camping with. If anyone is in southern Germany, north-east Switzerland or western Austria (or knows someone who loves to camp in this part of the world), I'd be really happy to organise something. Any conditions, any season (even cold winter nights).

    Thanks
    Pete.

Hey Pete - I'm located in the Bavarian Forest. It's not super close, but maybe there are some nice destinations halfway. I haven't done any overnight hiking in Europe, but I would definitely be up for it. I was recently told Val Grande would be worth a trip.

    Hey Hutzelbein,
Absolutely, I'm sure there are plenty of goods spots halfway If you ever have ideas for a weekend hang, just let me know! I don't have a car (I plan on buying one soon), but I'm happy to travel anywhere by train/bus/car-share and meet somewhere. Val Grande looks amazing too. Everything is new for me here so I'm happy with anything/everything!

I'm about 5 hours away in Germany, but may be able to do something in the Spring.

Those areas must have some beautiful places to hang. I have snowboarded in all three countries and loved all of them. I think Austria was probably my favorite. Zermatt was nothing to sneeze at either.
Ahhh so many place left to hang above ground before I'm below ground.
Hanging in the woods, paddlin and catching trout- My kind of living...
