Interesting shape! It will be interesting to see what you think of it later after having it a while. Looks nice. Thanks for sharing!

Always simon.....
Explore the Tyndalls area behind Lake Margaret, Queenstown. Fishing & camping along the way.
Paddle out to a hut on an island near Lk Olive & Lk Naomi
Some close to you....Rinadina falls to the Long Tarns, havnt used that access track to the plateau before.
Using the jackson creek access for a circuit of Lakes Bill, Myrtle , Chalice and Cathedral Mt,
from there maybe dropping down into Lee's Paddocks & back to the car.
Hike in to Reynolds falls behind Cradle Mt..
Maybe fly or boat in to a couple of small remote islands in Bass Strait. Have a couple in mind but access is restricted.
Have to squeeze a long float trip/ river journey in there too....
I used to live in Tassie...so its always going to be a endless list

'Li'l Red' gets a few mods......
micro end.... dare I say 'blast' doors.
simple self tensioning tie outs....working well so far.
and a ridgeline organizer....Took the weight of a full water bottle off the ridgeline & placed it on the spreader bar.
The dimensions are too small at the moment, need to make a larger one to suit the headlamp & the length of the gatorade bottle,
which I use if I get thirsty during the night.
It's a good feeling having a 'customised' home away from home.

Nice "blast doors"! You look to be a fan of the color red? Is that a diy bridge, and a spreader bar only at one end?
Good luck,

It's a hybrid made by Madtree...its called a Tarseer, Redoleary.
Just adding all these extra bits & pieces to suit me & make it more comfortable
in the range of weather conditions I go walking in over here.
Cool winter winds were blowing away much of my body heat, so I added a undercover & small end doors...
..but I also like to see whats hopping around out there during the night. Its all a compromise function vs weight.
I had a sugar glider hit the tarp a few nights ago & slide off onto the ground.

Scared the *#$% out of me in the middle of the moonlit night....
As for the colour...its the only material I have at the moment.
Although I will be ordering some forest green soon....

Nice looking tarp!
It's satisfying to use a DIY project, eh?
