    You could put a little loop of dynamee through it to give you a pull for when you go to undo it. After it's had a load on it overnight and if it gets wet it's a whole lot different then when it's had just a little load on it. Once you break it out of it's stiffness it goes back to being curly rope but dang if a good load doesn't turn it into a piece of hard plastic.
