not sure about pointless. As it can be brought inside by yourself without taking it down and it can be raised by simple adjustment to a more inclined position like a chair OH SO COMFY

Replace the adjustment pegs with a handy chair-side foot-rest adjustment lever and this could become the next generation of recliner chairs! Bonus: no upholstered sides for the cats to claw up. Be afraid, LaZBoy, your days are numbered!

Actually, you are totally right. I imagined myself in it and immediately became envious haha. Anyway you can put the dimensions up?

I went with 60" outside 2x4 at the base can't remember what the inner 2x4 is I'm camping with it and no tape measure head upright is also 60 foot end is like 42 the 2x4 at both ends are 26 and 22 and sorry trying to use sons iPod that I've never used otter has the blueprints on the 5th page he's the one that created this design

Why can I not see the photo? Happens frequently with posts. Sometimes I close them, re-open and the photos appear - sometimes they do not !!??

I'd recommend radiusing the foot platform, catching your shin on one of those corners will be an eye opener. Neat concept, I'll have to look into it more...

I know I am dragging up a thread over a year old, but can someone help me find the thread on how to make one of these. I can't seem to find. I know Otter calls it his "TM Chair" for Time Machine, but I cant find the thread to make this.

I think I can help. Search for the winter recliner 11 thread. It's a long thread but if you look through a few pages you'll see the blueprints for the chair that Otter posted.
