I've been out of the loop for a few months (trying to get my Cisco exams out of the way) so apologies if this has already been asked.

Is the ARGON lighter than what you use for the olive green? What would the weight savings be?
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

    Introducing "ARGON" fabric

[QUOTE=Shewie;1036509]Does the Argon pack down okay Adam, I just wondered if it was a pain compressing the air out?

I can tell you it compresses easier than the both incubators that Adam made out of 10d and m50 for me.

Anyone know what a 20* Phoenix with argon for the outer and inner shells would weigh?

I believe the standard olive green they use is the plain 'ol 1.1 ripstop (at least that's what it looks/feels like on my burrow).

So, that would be the standard 3.5 - 4 ounces total weight savings (if used on outside and inside) on a quilt.

Must be a pretty good product for them to start using it as standard material. Very nice to see a company using the cutting edge newest advancements.

That is a heck of a savings! Definitely doing it on the outside and inside for both tq and uq in that case! When I have the $516 for both quilts, that is

For those of you who may have wanted to know, a new 20* phoenix in its stuff sack weighs about 15.1 ounces (on my crappy scale). Out of the stuff sack it came in at about 14.7.

Ask me how I now know...
